The US goes for UAV´s (Unmanned Arial Vehicles) and is presently training more UAV-operators than fighter pilots.

Maritime Robotics is supported by Innovation Norway in the development of a visual identity for the company through a designproject. This includes graphic profile as well as the design of our Unnmanned Surface Vehicle (USV) used for various market-demonstrations.

Maritime Robotics performs full-scale demonstrations of their formation control technology. The formation control system enables a possibility for master-slave behavior of multiple unmanned/manned vehicles.

Maritime Robotics cooperates closely with the Centre for Ships and Ocean Structures (CeSOS) at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU)

Some of the results from this cooperation are highlighted on pages 30-31 as well as on pages 45 and 52 of the CeSOS 2008 annual report.

Maritime Robotics participates in the yearly CONNECT Norge Oil and Gass Parterseminar in Bergen. The seminar is arranged together with StatoilHydro.

Maritime Robotics performs joint mission with NTNU
Maritime Robotics recently performed a joint sea-trial with the Norwegian University for Technology and Science (NTNU). Maritime Robotics USV system was operated from an Operator Control Station located on NTNUs research vessel FF Gunnerus.
