Based on Maritime Robotics technology development of the Mariner USV was introduced in 2008. The Mariner is based on a Rigid-Buyoancy hull and offers excellent platform stability for multirole maritime data gathering.
The Mariner USV System is an ideal platform for hydroacousting sensor systems for maritime surveying. With a speed capacity of 36kts and video/infrared sensor systems the Mariner is also capable of maritime ISR (intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance) missions.
